DAMAGE: Broken hinge, broken glass, damaged inlaid images, missing bottle (have lid though), broken strap, some of the drawers stick.
This is a vintage to antique brass and wood Turkish Ottoman shoe shine kit box from what is now modern-day Turkey. Comes with 2 brushes, 15 bottles (some with original labels), 16 brass lids, and 2 keys. A wonderful conversation piece.
Not shined up, does have signs of age and wear. One of the hinge lids is broken (pictured). Some of the glass is broken (pictured). There appears to be shoe polish that spilled and damaged one of the inlaid images (pictured). Leather carrying strap is also broken. Some prongs sticking out on one side.
Measures approx. 33.5" x 7.25" and 21" tall. It's solid brass and wood with glass accents.
