Krementz opened in 1866 in New Jersey. They have an interesting company history with patents and mastery of design and manufacturing. Part of that mastery is in what is known as Gold Overlay. It is a process that produces a layer of gold that is 30 times thicker than your standard electroplating. That makes these pieces very durable without the high cost of solid gold.
