Thank You for Another Successful Santa Train

Saturday, December 9, 2023 marked the 17th annual Santa Express put on by Greenville & Western Railway Company! It was a cold and rainy day, but that didn't stop our wonderful community from coming out and participating!  Crowds still turned out braving the weather for a chance to climb on the train and see Santa!

Christmas Cheer All Around

Our Standpipe Antiques team, wearing their festive gear, happily took on the task of serving hot cocoa, coffee, and snacks to the crowd to help fight off the cold. We also opened our doors for people to escape the outside wind for a bit if necessary. And of course, some of our vendors came by as well!

Once everyone had made it through the line to see Santa and Mrs. Claus in the cheerily decorated caboose, the Santa Express had its annual raffle, as well. Due to the weather, we were happy to let them host the raffle under our awning.

Looking Forward to Next Year

It was a fantastic day full of joy and cheer! We are truly grateful to be part of this community. We had a lot of fun and are looking forward to next year's Santa Train, but we'll hope you stick around and keep reading our blog updates in the meantime.
